Fontella Koleff

Adelaide based journalist and media and communications specialist, Fontella has almost 40 years experience in arts writing including 10 years at The Adelaide Advertiser and Arts Editor for On Dit in 1996 (a tenure that included the mind blowing Barry Kosky directed Adelaide Festival – anyone remember Red Square?)

With a family background in the arts including music, film, television and theatre, Fontella is passionate a supporter of South Australia’s creative community. She has also provided background support to the industry as a former board member for Mount Gambier’s Riddoch Art Gallery and Mainstreet Theatre. Since 2018 she has been a social media volunteer for the Adelaide Festival live tweeting too many Adelaide Writers’ Week sessions to count.

Away from her current day job in State Government media and communications Fontella can be found at local gigs and events, promoting our artists and performers where she can through her social media posts and blog site CrossborderTales. She is particularly looking to further support the community as we all emerge out of the Covid pandemic.
